2012 Dodge Charger SRT8

Yesterday, at the Chicago Auto Show, Dodge unveiled the new 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8. The Charger will be equipped with Dodge’s new 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that can produce 465 horsepower, 465 lb-ft of torque, a 0-60 mph time in the high four second range, and a top speed of 175 mph (281 km/h). The Charger will also feature an adaptive damping suspension with Auto and Sport settings, LED taillamps, a four-inch dual exhaust, 14.2-inch front brakes and 13.8-inch rear brakes, 20-inch forged aluminum and polished wheels, and Chrysler’s W5A580 five-speed automatic transmission that backs up the HEMI engine. The EkranoYacht Is A Flying Yacht

This über-cool looking EkranoYacht was designed by Jaron Dickson, a student at Monash University in Australia, and even though it's just a design prototype now, we can't help but wonder how awesome it would be to own a flying yacht. From the designer:

The EkranoYacht is a hydrogen powered wing-in-ground effect vehicle for permanent residence — set for 2025… The craft performs at approximately 400kph [or 250 mph] in full flight. It can tackle waves of up to 3.5 m and can also be used as normal yacht when necessary. The 36.5m craft can house 6 people comfortably. The interior design was a very important part of the project, because if people are going to give up their static home living arrangements, there can't be any sacrifice moving on to the EkranoYacht. I designed for open floor plan living, with large windows for natural light.

Better start saving those pennies if you want a shot of owning your own flying yacht in the year 2025. Source

2012 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG

The first two pictures for the new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG leaked onto the internet (leaked by Germany's EvoCars.de) on Friday, and even though details are very scarce at the moment, we can tell you that the C63 AMG will be equipped with a 6.3-liter V8 engine that is expected to produce 451 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. No pricing info is known at this point.

Hugh Hefner Says Playboy App Coming to iPad

Hugh Hefner tweeted last night:
“Big news! Playboy – both old & new – will be available on iPad beginning in March”

When questioned, he also mentioned:
“Yes, all the back issues of Playboy will be available on iPad, & current issues as well”, and that, “Playboy on iPad will be uncensored”.

This is interesting news since Apple has been very vocal about no pornography on the their devices. Maybe the release of a bazillion new tablets has made Apple have a change of heart…or what if the news of Steve Jobs stepping down had opened doors with the board to do things just a little differently.

I guess we will see if this comes true, what price it will be offered at and wether or not the issues will truely be uncensored. If Playboy releases an app on the iPad you know the Yes, El Guapo! app will not be far behind.

RUMOR – Porsche To Unveil The 918 Coupe At The Detroit Auto Show

Porsche is returning to the North American International Auto Show (Detroit Auto Show) after a four year absence, and the rumor going around the net is that they are planning to make a big splash at the show with the official unveiling of the new 918 coupe. The 918 coupe will be a two-seater mid-engine coupe, disguised as a racing car, and it is rumored to be equipped with a V8 engine that can produce around 600 horses. If the rumors are true, then we'll see the new Porsche 918 coupe for the first time next week at the N.A.I.A.S. in Detroit, and the 918 coupe is not expected to hit dealerships before 2014. Source
