I will be going for my first solo travel this August and decided to visit Jordan. The first week will be with my girlfriend where we will do the main tourist attractions from Amman to Aqaba . And I’ll start my solo trip in Aqaba for my second week.
At first, I was thinking about diving in the red sea but after reading different comments on this sub, I’m not so sure anymore. However, what I definitely want to do is hiking in Dana Biosphere and probably visiting As-Salt on my last day. But in between I’m not so sure and I would appreciate some recommendations regarding places that tourist often overlook. I prefer to enjoy landscape and nature and visit smaller towns.
I usually like to go with the flow and not plan too much while backpacking with friends , but in Jordan I’m not so sure. I’m afraid that I’ll end up spending most of my time in transport if I don’t plan in advance. Should I really rent a car or can I get away without one?
