Unexpectedly planning a last-minute trip to Costa Rica . I’m struggling with fitting all the things I want to do into two weeks. My budget is flexible and I’ve only booked my arriving flight from the US. My interests are primarily in outdoor activities and I’d rather not be in party or drinking-heavy settings.
Here’s preliminarily what I have for an itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive LIR at 1pm, get rental car , drive to Monteverde
Day 2: Monteverde
Day 3: Monteverde to la Fortuna
Day 4: La Fortuna
Day 5: La Fortuna to Tortuguero
Day 6: Tortuguero
Day 7: Tortuguero to Quepos
Day 8: Quepos
Day 9: Quepos to Uvita
Day 10: Uvita
Day 11: Uvita to Sierpe to Drake by boat
Day 12: Drake to Corcovado via tour
Day 13: Overnight tour in Corcovado, with transit back to drake
Day 14: Fly drake bay to SJO , SJO to home destination
I know that the obvious choice is to cut out Tortuguero, but I really want to go… Any advice?
